Hi, I'm Stine!

Illumination Marketing has an article on how the marketing rule of 7 works to influence a potential client. In this article, I want to take this theory and show you how you can leverage Pinterest marketing strategies and your blog to land in front of your ideal client’s eyes 7 times (but more like 10 times).

content marketing rule of 7 audience

The chances of someone landing on your website and jumping into your high-ticket offer right away are extremely low. People want to see more and know you better to make that decision. That is why working according to the marketing rule of 7  makes sense. It gives your ideal client a chance to gain a certain level of familiarity before investing, making them confident in the price, quality, and other factors they are looking at.

According to Forbes can the rule of seven help you understand how one piece of content, like a blog post, can work as different pieces of a broader content strategy. For ideal clients strictly following you on IG you can take on the blog post and make it 3 – 4 different content pieces.

Several things will happen when we take advantage of the marketing rule of 7, amongst these are:

  • You stay top-of-mind for your ideal client and increase brand awareness

  • The customer has the basic info making sales conversations easier

  • It generates awareness across multiple decision-makers.

  • You stay visible for longer

  • You can handle objections on different platforms

So how can you leverage the rule of 7 for your business with Pinterest marketing?

I’ll use this blog post and my own content repurposing as an example.

  • This particular blog post is/will be posted to 5 Pinterest boards – all relevant and optimized

  • I have 2 content pieces going to Instagram

  • There is 1 e-mail going to my list

Making 8 different content pieces from one blog post, and I can also add the reel to Tiktok for one more, and write a piece for threads for one extra making 10 content pieces making multi-platform marketing easy.

If this feels overwhelming to you this is something I support my clients with inside my monthly management.
