Hi, I'm Stine!

Welcome to my world, where spilled milk is just the beginning of the chaos. As a mom of a wild three-year-old and a baby, my life is a whirlwind of diapers, baby giggles, and toddler tantrums. But amidst the adorable mayhem, there was a fire in my heart, a desire to start a business from home and prove that moms can do it all. Right here, I’ll share my personal journey as a mompreneur, tantrums and all.

I always wanted to start my own business, and the want just grew stronger when I became a mom.

The thought of working from home while raising my kids was too enticing to resist. No more missing out on bedtime stories, soccer practice, or first steps. It meant I could be there for my children while chasing my dreams.

But finding the right business idea wasn’t easy, I stumbled upon my passion project: becoming a Pinterest manager from a random TikTok I saw (before all this get-rich-quick BS took over). It just lit my fire and I felt so excited. It combined my love for Pinterest which I already had, and marketing. It was the perfect fit for a mom with limited free time.

I already spent a ton of time on the app, so doing it for work would only be icing on the cake so to speak. I got my office all set up – not Pinterest-worthy at all! But it’s perfect for me. There are toys and crayons around me, but I get my work done and love it. It’s a daily reminder that success can be born from chaos.

But actually getting to the stage where I could call myself a Pinterest manager wasn’t the easiest.

Becoming a Pinterest manager was a daunting decision. Learning a new skill while caring for a newborn and a toddler? Madness, right? But the spark of opportunity ignited a fire within me. I knew I had to try, and I also knew I would succeed!

The hours and money I dedicated to learning the ropes were exhausting, but they transformed me. I discovered strengths I never knew I had, from creating eye-catching pins to analyzing Pinterest algorithms. Also, my personal growth was astonishing. I can do so much more than I think, even with a breast pump attached to me.

The sweat and tears paid off when I started delivering results for clients. Seeing their Pinterest engagement soar was a testament to my dedication. It’s the kind of success that warms your heart even on the toughest mom days. And building true friendships with every single one of them is something I’m forever grateful for.

Keeping the balance between motherhood and business isn’t always easy.

The struggle to balance motherhood and a career is real. My secret weapon? Time management. I don’t have a daily schedule that I stick to, simply because I let my time go and enjoy my children and their needs. So most of my work is done in the evenings while they sleep. I basically switched from Netflix to Pinterest. But right now, that’s what works for me and my babies.

I couldn’t do it alone though. My support network, including my husband and mom-friends, became my lifeline. They are always there to support me, take a load off my plate, and listen to me when I get overwhelmed, which is less and less. But when you start a new business, make sure you’re not alone!

Amidst diaper changes and business emails, I learned the importance of self-care. Those stolen moments keep me grounded even if it’s just ten minutes with a cup of coffee or a quick shower.

The mental load of motherhood is real ya’ll!

The mental load of motherhood is a relentless companion. It’s the invisible weight of remembering everything from doctor’s appointments, and sizing up clothes to grocery lists. But I faced it head-on, acknowledging it was there.

I implemented strategies to lighten the load. I delegated tasks, created schedules, and embraced digital tools. My husband got designated dad tasks and keeps his end of the deal so I can forget about those areas of everyday tasks.

Most importantly, I learned that seeking help wasn’t a sign of weakness but a courageous act of self-preservation. Therapy sessions and connecting with other moms who understood my struggles helped me regain balance.

To my fellow mompreneurs, I applaud you. Our journey may be filled with sleepless nights, toddler tantrums, and endless demands, but it’s also bursting with love, determination, and the thrill of building a business from home. Embrace the chaos, relish the victories, and remember that you are not alone. As a mompreneur, you have the strength to conquer both the wild world of motherhood and the exciting path of entrepreneurship.
